Our History
Associated Appraisal was founded in 1959 as a Wisconsin-based family-owned business. Throughout our history, we have provided a variety of real estate consulting services in Wisconsin and in other states. Today, our primary focus is to partner with Wisconsin municipalities to provide property assessment services, ranging from limited-scope maintenance work to full-scope municipal revaluations.
Our Purpose
Communities and schools rely on property taxes to provide services like education, roads, police and fire protection, and more. Since these taxes are based on the value of a property, it’s important that the appraised value of the property is accurate. Municipalities hire AAC to perform mass appraisal or mass assessment services on their behalf. We use standardized processes to collect property data and analyze local real estate sales. Mass appraisal is the process of appraising all properties in a municipality using a valuation model that is based on actual sales data, customized to fit local market conditions. The advantage of the mass appraisal process is that it produces uniform and consistent appraisal values, which helps to ensure fair and equitable tax distribution.
